Position Summary DermaplanePro is seeking an organized, creative, and motivated Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of our marketing initiatives. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is excited about marketing, social media, beauty, skincare, and building a career in the industry. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Graphic Designer and coordinate with external marketing partners to help execute social media, keep marketing projects moving, support influencer and affiliate relationships, coordinate digital campaigns, and manage day-to-day marketing operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with social media, a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This person should enjoy both the creative and organizational sides of marketing and be comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. Principal Responsibilities & Essential Duties Social Media & Community Management | 35% Assist with the day-to-day management of DermaplanePro social media channels. Schedule and publish approved social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other applicable platforms. Maintain and update the social media content calendar. Write and adapt social media captions based on established brand messaging and campaign direction. Monitor comments, messages, mentions, tags, and other social activity. Engage with followers, estheticians, educators, partners, and relevant industry accounts to help grow and strengthen the DermaplanePro community. Respond to routine social media inquiries and route customer service, education, sales, or other questions to the appropriate team member. Identify, collect, and organize user-generated content and obtain appropriate permissions for use. Monitor social media trends, conversations, content formats, and opportunities relevant to the professional skincare and esthetics industry. Assist with capturing behind-the-scenes, product, team, educational, and other organic social content as needed. Maintain organized libraries of social media and user-generated content. Track basic social media performance and prepare regular reporting for the Director of Marketing. Marketing Project Coordination | 25% Support the Director of Marketing in coordinating marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, educational initiatives, and other department projects. Maintain marketing project timelines, calendars, task lists, and project management systems. Coordinate deliverables between the Director of Marketing, Graphic Designer, external marketing partners, and internal departments. Follow up on outstanding assets, approvals, information, and deadlines to keep projects moving forward. Help coordinate marketing requests from Sales, Education, Customer Service, Operations, and other departments. Organize project files, creative assets, campaign materials, and final deliverables. Assist with proofreading and quality assurance of marketing materials, links, promotional details, and digital content prior to launch. Take notes during marketing meetings and maintain action items and follow-up tasks. Influencer, Affiliate & Vendor Support | 15% Research potential influencers, content creators, affiliates, brand partners, and other marketing opportunities. Assist with approved outreach and follow-up communications. Coordinate product seeding, samples, shipping information, and marketing materials for creators and partners. Track influencer and affiliate content, deliverables, promotional codes, and campaign participation. Collect and organize content created by influencers, affiliates, educators, and brand partners. Maintain organized influencer, affiliate, and vendor contact databases. Assist with affiliate onboarding and ongoing program administration. Support monthly affiliate reporting and commission administration. Communicate with photographers, videographers, printers, promotional vendors, and other marketing partners regarding schedules, deliverables, quotes, assets, and project details. Follow up with vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule. Email & Digital Campaign Coordination | 10% Coordinate email and SMS campaigns between the Director of Marketing, Graphic Designer, and external email marketing team. Maintain the email and promotional campaign calendar and communicate upcoming campaign deadlines. Gather and organize campaign briefs, copy, promotional details, creative assets, links, product information, and other materials needed by the email marketing team. Ensure the external email marketing team receives campaign materials and direction according to established timelines. Track campaign progress and follow up on outstanding deliverables, revisions, and approvals. Coordinate internal review and approval of email and SMS campaigns prior to launch. Proof campaigns for messaging, links, promotional details, dates, product information, and overall accuracy. Communicate revisions and feedback to the email marketing team. Help ensure social media, email, website, and promotional messaging are coordinated across campaigns. Maintain organized records of completed campaigns and campaign assets. Event & Tradeshow Support | 10% Assist with the preparation and coordination of company tradeshows, trainings, conferences, and other events. Assist with preparing, organizing, packing, and staging products, samples, marketing collateral, signage, displays, promotional materials, and other event supplies. Coordinate outbound and return shipments of event materials and track shipments as needed. Assist with ordering and organizing event supplies, printed collateral, promotional items, and other materials upon request Help organize returned event materials and ensure reusable supplies, signage, displays, and products are inventoried and properly stored following events. Provide general administrative and logistical support to help ensure events are fully prepared and organized. Marketing Administration, Reporting & Research | 5% Pull and organize basic marketing performance metrics as requested. Maintain marketing reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and calendars. Conduct basic competitor, industry, and social media research. Monitor competitor marketing activity and identify relevant trends or examples for the Director of Marketing. Maintain organized digital marketing files and asset libraries. Assist with ordering, organizing, and tracking marketing materials, product samples, and photoshoot supplies. Provide general administrative support to the Marketing department. Complete special projects and other marketing duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-2 years of marketing, social media, communications, administrative, or related experience preferred. Relevant internships, education, or hands-on experience may be considered. Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. High attention to detail and ability to proof content for accuracy. Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Self-motivated with strong follow-through. Comfortable communicating professionally with vendors, influencers, affiliates, contractors, and internal team members. Ability to learn new software and marketing platforms quickly. Experience with Canva, social media scheduling platforms, Shopify, Kajabi, Google Workspace, or project management tools is a plus. Interest in skincare, beauty, esthetics, or the professional beauty industry is strongly preferred. What Success Looks Like The Marketing Assistant helps make the Marketing department more efficient by ensuring day-to-day marketing execution stays organized and on schedule.

Social media is consistently posted and actively managed. The DermaplanePro online community receives timely engagement and appropriate responses. Marketing projects have clear timelines, owners, and follow-up. Internal team members and external marketing partners receive the information and assets they need on time. Email and promotional campaigns move smoothly from planning through approval and launch. Assets, approvals, and deliverables are organized and easy to locate. Influencer, affiliate, and vendor communications are followed through consistently. Campaign details are carefully proofed for accuracy. The Director of Marketing has more time to focus on strategy, brand development, campaign planning, creative direction, and performance. Role Growth This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, including social media, digital marketing, influencer marketing, project coordination, e-commerce, and brand marketing. As experience and skills develop, there may be opportunities to take greater ownership of marketing initiatives and grow into a Marketing Coordinator role.
