The Multimedia Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, producing, and managing high-quality multimedia content that supports the mission, values, and strategic priorities of Gila River Health Care. This role leads visual storytelling efforts across digital, social, broadcast, and internal platforms to promote health education, community engagement, and culturally responsive care. The position ensures that all multimedia communications honor tribal identity, traditions, and sovereignty while enhancing brand visibility and patient trust.
Critical Tasks:
Develop and execute a comprehensive multimedia strategy aligned with organizational goals and community health priorities. Produce and oversee video, photography, audio, live broadcast and graphic design projects for campaigns, events, and service lines. Lead storytelling initiatives that highlight patient experiences, cultural values, traditional healing, and community impact. Ensure all content reflects culturally appropriate messaging and imagery. Oversee website and intranet content management, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and aligned with weekly and monthly communication priorities. Collaborate with marketing team to create engaging multimedia content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertising. Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of multimedia assets. Optimize content for performance across platforms, including mobile and accessibility standards. Optimize and format multimedia assets for digital display boards, creating appropriately sized and visually engaging content to ensure consistent quality across screens. Manage and maintain content across digital media platforms and TV display boards ensuring all information is accurate, timely and aligned with organizational messaging. Troubleshoot technical or content issues as needed. Manage account access and permissions across digital platforms, including handling passwords securely and approving user access for social media and related systems. Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all multimedia outputs. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, in all visual and audio materials. Review and approve multimedia content to ensure accuracy, quality, and cultural sensitivity. Partner with tribal leaders, community members, and internal departments to capture authentic stories and perspectives. Support outreach initiatives, health campaigns, and cultural events through multimedia coverage. Promote health education in ways that are culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate when applicable. Manage multiple multimedia projects from concept through completion, including timelines and budgets. Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, photographers, and videographers as needed. Oversee procurement processes and ensure effective use of resources. Provide direction and mentorship to multimedia staff and/or contractors. Collaborate with clinical teams, public relations, and leadership to align messaging with organizational priorities. T rain staff in best practices for multimedia content creation and usage. Maintain and manage video, audio and photography equipment inventory, ensuring all supplies are available and ready for production needs. Manages technologies and data relating archives, library content, photos records (prints, slides, digital images); including following departmental and professional guidelines in order to assure the accuracy of all records and adherence to data standards. Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, public relations and leadership to align messaging and support the design and development of key marketing and communications materials.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a closely related field of study required. 3 years of experience (healthcare preferred) in marketing, public relations, or a related field required. Experience in developing and maintaining marketing strategies and with digital marketing and related software applications required. Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services. Be a member of a federally recognized tribe, preferred.
