irector of Marketing & Referral Relations Veterinary Medical Center at Lakewood Ranch is seeking a Director of Marketing & Referral Relations to help grow awareness of our hospital, strengthen relationships with referring veterinarians, and promote our specialty and emergency services. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, organizing outreach, creating marketing campaigns, and representing VMC in the veterinary community. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with referring veterinary hospitals. Schedule meet-and-greets, lunches, and visits between VMC specialists and local veterinarians. Coordinate mailings, email campaigns, service updates, and referral materials. Promote new specialists, services, technology, and hospital capabilities. Organize CE events, lunch-and-learns, open houses, and community outreach. Help manage VMC's website, social media, and digital marketing. Coordinate doctor introductions and hospital announcements. Monitor reviews and help maintain VMC's online reputation. Track basic marketing and referral results and provide monthly updates to leadership. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and professional Highly organized Creative and proactive Comfortable meeting with veterinarians and practice managers Able to manage projects from idea through completion A strong writer and communicator Marketing, business development, healthcare, veterinary, pharmaceutical, or referral-relations experience is preferred. First 90 Days The initial focus will be simple: Learn VMC's doctors, services, and capabilities. Organize our referring-veterinarian contacts and marketing materials. Begin regular visits and communication with local veterinary hospitals. Schedule introductions between VMC specialists and referring veterinarians. Develop a practical marketing and CE calendar for the year. Compensation Competitive salary based on experience, with benefits and the potential for a performance-based bonus. This position will work closely with VMC ownership and leadership and will play an important role in continuing to grow VMC's presence throughout the veterinary community.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
