You will set the direction, generate the ideas, ship them yourself, and be measured on one thing above all others, which is qualified leads that turn into revenue. The right person is equal parts creative and analytical, and is genuinely forward thinking about where marketing is headed. Buyers no longer just type keywords and click blue links. They ask AI assistants, read AI generated summaries, and build shortlists before they ever reach a website. We want someone who sees that shift as an advantage to seize rather than a problem to manage. What You Will Own Strategy and budget. Translate revenue goals into a channel level plan with targets, timelines, and spend allocation. Own positioning and messaging. Defend investment decisions with performance data. Lead generation. Own the number across every channel: volume, quality, cost per lead, and conversion to revenue. Build integrated campaigns across paid, organic, content, email, events, and partnerships. Constantly test new avenues for lead flow, scale what works, and cut what does not. Search and AI visibility. Own how we get found across all four: SEO for technical health, site architecture, and high intent keyword strategy AEO for snippets, People Also Ask, schema, and voice results GEO for presence inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot answers AIO for Google AI Overviews and the zero click erosion they create on money terms Build measurement for these surfaces, including citation share, branded prompt visibility, and conversions from AI referral traffic. Forward looking AI strategy. Track where buyer discovery is moving next, including AI agents that research and shortlist vendors on a buyer's behalf, and position us to be the answer those systems surface. Run small, fast experiments on emerging platforms before best practices exist. Bring a point of view to leadership on what changes in the next twelve months and what we should do now. Creative and execution. Generate original campaign concepts that differentiate us, then move from idea to live campaign quickly.
Direct all asset development:
web content, landing pages, ad creative, video, case studies, and thought leadership. Data and reporting. Own attribution and tracking across analytics, ad platforms, and CRM. Deliver consistent reporting on a set cadence: weekly channel snapshots, monthly reviews, quarterly strategy assessments. Track leads, cost per lead, MQLs, SQLs, pipeline created, marketing sourced revenue, CAC, ROAS, and channel level ROI. Vendors and stack. Source, negotiate, and manage agencies, contractors, and technology vendors against clear SLAs. Review performance regularly and renegotiate, replace, or bring work in house based on ROI. Team and partnership. Lead and develop the marketing team, hire to fill gaps, and partner with sales on lead quality standards and handoff. Present performance and strategy to executive leadership. What You Bring 7 or more years in marketing, with at least 3 leading a function or team B2B marketing experience with positive results Demonstrated ownership of a lead generation or pipeline number, with specific results Hands on depth across paid media, organic search, content, email, and website conversion A practical, tested point of view on SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI Overviews, not just familiarity with the acronyms Evidence that you adopt new channels and tools early and evaluate them rigorously Strong analytics skills across ad platforms, CRM reporting, and spreadsheets Proven vendor and agency management against performance standards Budget ownership with clear ROI accountability Ability to both set strategy and personally execute, because this role does both Nice to have: experience in BPO/Outsourcing Contact Center Services, multi touch sales cycles, schema and structured data, HubSpot or Salesforce, and building a marketing function from an unstructured starting point.
