Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Full-Time Bright Star Childcare is looking for a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing & Brand Manager to lead marketing efforts for our growing organization of eight early childhood education locations —six Bright Star Kids childcare centers and two Montessori schools. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of marketing , build strong brands, create engaging campaigns, and directly contribute to the growth of our schools. About Bright Star Childcare Bright Star Childcare operates eight schools throughout Washington and Oregon, serving children from infancy through school age. Our programs include childcare, preschool, Montessori education, before- and after-school care, and enrichment programs. We believe that great schools deserve great marketing. Our goal is to make sure families know who we are, understand what makes each school special, and have a positive experience from their first online interaction through enrollment. About the Role The Marketing & Brand Manager will oversee the marketing strategy, branding, digital presence, advertising, and community outreach for all eight schools. You will work closely with ownership, school directors, and administrative teams to understand the needs of each location and develop marketing strategies that increase: Brand awareness Website traffic Family inquiries School tours Enrollment Parent engagement Online reviews Community involvement This role is both creative and data-driven . We want someone who enjoys creating great content but also wants to know whether that content is actually producing results. Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand Strategy Develop and manage an overall marketing strategy for all eight schools. Create individual marketing strategies based on each school's location, programs, and enrollment needs. Maintain consistent branding while allowing each school to showcase its unique personality. Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing campaigns. Monitor local competitors and childcare, preschool, and Montessori marketing trends. Develop campaigns for enrollment periods, open houses, events, new programs, and promotions. Social Media & Content Manage Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant social media platforms. Create monthly content calendars. Create and/or coordinate photos, videos, reels, graphics, and written content. Showcase classroom experiences, teachers, children's learning, events, programs, and school culture. Work with school directors and teachers to gather content. Stay current with social media trends and identify new opportunities to increase engagement and reach. Enrollment & Lead Generation A major focus of this position will be turning marketing into actual enrollment opportunities. Develop campaigns designed to generate inquiries and school tours. Track leads from initial inquiry through tour and enrollment. Create targeted campaigns for schools and classrooms with available openings. Analyze which marketing channels are generating the best leads. Use enrollment data to adjust marketing strategies. Support open houses, enrollment campaigns, and promotional events. Work with school leadership to improve tour-to-enrollment conversion. Website & Online Presence Manage and maintain school websites and online information. Keep programs, photos, contact information, and enrollment information current. Improve website content and user experience. Improve local SEO and search visibility. Manage and maintain Google Business Profiles. Help families searching for childcare, preschool, daycare, and Montessori programs find our schools. Reviews & Reputation Develop strategies to increase positive Google reviews. Monitor online reviews and reputation. Work with school directors to encourage families to share their experiences. Help develop appropriate responses to reviews. Track review ratings and trends by location. Community Marketing Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, community groups, and family organizations. Identify community events, festivals, fairs, and sponsorship opportunities. Coordinate school participation in local events. Develop partnerships that increase awareness and referrals. Find creative ways for each school to become more involved in its community. Advertising Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns through platforms such as Google and Meta. Coordinate print and local advertising when appropriate. Create targeted campaigns based on location, programs, age groups, and enrollment needs. Monitor advertising budgets and campaign performance. Track cost per lead and other key marketing metrics. Make recommendations on where marketing dollars should be spent. Marketing Materials Create or oversee the creation of: Flyers and brochures Postcards Social media graphics Digital advertisements Enrollment materials School banners Email campaigns Event and promotional materials Parent communications Data & Performance We want marketing decisions to be based on results, not just activity. You will track and report on metrics such as: Website traffic Social media growth and engagement Leads and inquiries Tours scheduled Tour-to-enrollment conversion New enrollments Google reviews and ratings Advertising performance Cost per lead Marketing spending Enrollment trends Community outreach You will provide regular reports to ownership and leadership and make recommendations for improvement. AI & Emerging Technology Bright Star Childcare is interested in using AI and emerging technology thoughtfully to improve our marketing efforts. You do not need to be an AI expert. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, curious about new tools, and excited about finding smarter and more efficient ways to work. You may use AI and emerging technology to: Develop content and social media ideas. Assist with marketing copy and email campaigns. Analyze marketing data and identify trends. Explore tools for graphic design, video, and content creation. Automate repetitive marketing tasks. Personalize campaigns for different schools and audiences. Research new marketing technologies and determine what is actually useful. Responsible use of technology is important to us, particularly when it involves children's privacy, family information, and our organization's reputation. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is creative, strategic, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. Qualifications 3-5 years of marketing experience preferred. Experience managing social media and creating engaging content. Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns. Experience with digital marketing, including Google and Meta advertising. Experience with Google Business Profiles and local SEO preferred. Experience managing website content preferred. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project-management skills. Ability to manage multiple locations and projects simultaneously. Experience with Canva or similar design platforms. Photography and/or videography skills preferred. Comfortable analyzing data and marketing performance. Comfortable learning and using new technology and AI tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating with school leadership. Creative problem-solver who isn't afraid to try new ideas. Willingness to travel between school locations. Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

Location & Travel Primary Location:
Everett/Mill Creek, Washington This position will support schools throughout Washington and Oregon , including locations in Everett/Mill Creek, Spokane, and Portland. The position can include remote/hybrid work , but regular travel between school locations is required. Occasional evening and weekend attendance may be required for community events, open houses, and other marketing activities.
