The Opportunity If you love creating content, chasing great stories, and working where the action is, this could be your kind of job. River Riders is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to bring our outdoor recreation and hospitality experiences to life across social media, video, photography, design, email, and the web. About 90% of the role supports our Harpers Ferry businesses, including river and aerial adventures, seasonal attractions, lodging, and camping. The remaining 10% supports Hawksnest Adventures, our snowtubing and zipline operation in Western North Carolina. This is not a desk-only role. You will be out capturing the fun, meeting guests and employees, testing ideas, and turning real experiences into content that drives bookings. What You Will Do Own the marketing calendar and day-to-day campaigns for the River Riders family of businesses, with focused seasonal support for Hawksnest. Create scroll-stopping organic content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Shoot and edit short-form video and photography, create graphics, and write energetic copy for social media, email, websites, advertising, and guest communications. Cultivate a core group of effective influencers and manage outreach, hosting, content expectations, relationships, and results. Coordinate websites, email, SEO, paid media partners, agencies, tourism partners, and other vendors. Track what works, respond quickly to trends, weather, and seasonal demand, and turn attention into website traffic, bookings, and revenue. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a closely related field. Three or more years of marketing experience with responsibility for creative execution and results. A strong portfolio featuring organic social content, graphic design, video capture and editing, photography, and writing. A record of building organic reach and engagement; viral or breakout content experience is a big plus. Experience developing productive influencer relationships and measuring their impact. Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software. Working knowledge of websites, email marketing, SEO, paid media, analytics, and campaign measurement. Experience coordinating agencies, freelancers, media partners, influencers, or other vendors; tourism, hospitality, attractions, or outdoor-recreation experience is preferred. Strong organization, judgment, communication, and the ability to move easily between planned campaigns and real-time opportunities. Ability to work primarily on site in Harpers Ferry, travel periodically to Western North Carolina, and work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or weather-dependent operating periods. Pay:

$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
