Job Summary An established Florida Medicare brokerage is looking for licensed health agents who want to build a career in Medicare. This role welcomes newcomers to the Medicare industry. We provide comprehensive training, systems, and ongoing support to set you up for success. You will educate prospective clients on their Medicare options and help them find coverage that fits their health needs and budget. This is a 100% commission, 1099 independent contractor role. You are paid directly by the carriers and keep 100% of your commission. The agency never takes a cut. There is no base pay. You build your own book of clients through grassroots marketing, community outreach, networking, and relationship building, working with clients by phone or in person. What we provide Training on Medicare Parts A, B, C (Medicare Advantage), and D, plus Medicare Supplement basics Help getting through AHIP and carrier certifications Carrier contracting through our agency Quoting and enrollment tools, plus a CRM to manage your clients and follow ups Ongoing support from experienced agents when you have questions on a case Compliance guidance on CMS marketing rules, events, and scope of appointment before your first client Duties Build your own book through community outreach, networking, and referral relationships Follow up with prospects who request information or contact from you Meet with Medicare beneficiaries by phone or in person and assess their coverage, doctors, prescriptions, and budget Educate clients on Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and explain plan options clearly in plain language Help clients select plans that fit their health needs and financial situation Complete a valid scope of appointment before discussing plan specifics Submit applications accurately and follow up on anything the carrier needs Record every client interaction in the CRM the same day Follow CMS marketing rules, carrier requirements, and HIPAA Requirements Active Florida 2-15 or 2-14 health insurance license Willing to complete AHIP and carrier certifications New to Medicare is welcome. Experience in outside sales, retail sales, or customer service is a plus Self starter who is comfortable networking and building relationships locally Able to explain complex insurance information clearly, patiently, and confidently Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to follow up Comfortable learning a CRM and quoting software. We train you on both Bilingual or multilingual is highly valued, especially Spanish Reliable transportation for local appointments, plus reliable phone and internet The details 1099 independent contractor.
