Job Description

Product Specialist This in-house position will be responsible for processing orders and estimates, handling questions and issues along with working to expand our reach to customers for one product line. Duties and Responsibilities includes the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Learn all eCommerce product lines for wood screen doors, wood storm doors, and aluminum screen doors as well as associated hardware Answer questions and take incoming calls from customers to provide advice, obtain orders, create estimates or deal with service issues Ability to gather information from customers to correctly quote a project Accurate data entry in accounting system and Excel forms for product fabrication Maintain project due dates and ensure product is finished within customer expectation for quality and schedule Track hardware inventory and order when required; search out new hardware offerings with plan for pricing and market justification Maintain necessary records of projects in existing analytics tools to understand and identify trends or areas of improvement Comfortable spending time in shop learning product and being able to make time-sensitive decisions as needed.
Candidates should have:
Good computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.). A detail-oriented work style with the ability to manage several concurrent projects. 1-2 years of experience in sales. Construction background can be beneficial. Good communication skills to effectively relay information.
