Start:

Immediate We are urgently hiring experienced Event Production Stagehands to support a large-scale wedding production across multiple venues in the Amagansett area. This is a hands-on event production role involving setup, changeovers, and breakdown/strike . We are looking for dependable workers who are comfortable with physical labor and can work efficiently as part of a production team. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks containing event equipment, furniture, scenic materials, and supplies Move and position furniture, staging, scenic elements, and other event materials Assist with event setup and production installation Support staging and preparation of event spaces Assist with nighttime event changeovers when required Break down and remove event equipment and materials after the event Assist with the final event strike , including loading materials onto trucks Follow directions from event production leads and supervisors Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude Travel between multiple event venues in the Amagansett area as assigned Schedule / Staffing Needs Immediate availability is strongly preferred.

Current staffing needs include:

Tomorrow:

10 Stagehands

•beginning at 8:00 AM, approximately 10 hours

Friday:

18 Stagehands

•same daytime schedule

Friday Night:

6 workers for a nighttime changeover

Saturday:

10 Stagehands

•same daytime schedule

Saturday Night:

6 workers for a nighttime changeover

Sunday:

10 Stagehands for the final strike/breakdown Schedules may vary depending on event production requirements. Requirements Previous stagehand, event production, event setup, theater, concert, wedding production, or similar experience preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, and move furniture, equipment, and event materials Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as required Reliable transportation to and between assigned event locations is strongly preferred Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a production team Reliable, punctual, and professional Must be available for the required shifts, including possible nighttime changeovers Immediate availability is highly preferred Physical Requirements This position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and moving event equipment and materials.
