This is not simply a graphic design position. We are looking for someone who can create, market, promote, and produce measurable sales results. Key Responsibilities Create professional graphics, advertising, promotional materials, flyers, signage, digital campaigns, and branded content. Plan, create, post, and manage engaging social media content , including photos, graphics, short-form video, promotions, and campaigns. Develop and manage e-commerce , including welding classes, project kits, products, promotions, online listings, and sales campaigns. Maintain consistent MetalMakers branding across digital, print, social, and community marketing. Develop marketing strategies that increase class enrollment, website traffic, product sales, leads, and revenue . Coordinate public relations and community outreach, including open houses, job fairs, school/community partnerships, special events, and workforce-development programs . Identify new opportunities to promote MetalMakers to students, parents, schools, businesses, community organizations, and future professional welders. Track marketing performance and determine which campaigns are producing sales, enrollment, and profit . Qualifications 5-10+ years of proven marketing and/or graphic design experience Strong graphic design and brand-development portfolio Demonstrated experience creating and managing social media content E-commerce development and management experience Strong photography, video, digital-content, and promotional skills Public relations, event promotion, and community-outreach experience Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and take ownership of results Technology & Marketing Systems The successful candidate should have strong working knowledge of professional marketing, design, e-commerce, and analytics platforms, including: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom and/or Premiere Pro) Canva Pro Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Business Profile, and Google Search Console E-commerce and website management platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, or Squarespace Email marketing/automation platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact CRM and lead-tracking systems such as HubSpot Social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace Photography, video editing, short-form video, and digital content creation tools Modern AI-assisted marketing and content-development tools Candidates do not need experience with every individual platform; however, they must demonstrate the ability to independently manage the complete digital marketing process—from content creation and advertising to e-commerce, lead generation, conversion tracking, and performance reporting. Performance Matters This position will be measured by more than content produced or posts published. The successful candidate's work must contribute to increased enrollment, e-commerce sales, qualified leads, community engagement, brand growth, and overall profitability. This is a part-time position with health benefits available . We are looking for a marketer who can take MetalMakers' story, turn it into a powerful brand, and turn that brand into measurable growth.
