Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Presentations to local businesses about the benefit of advertising on the station and digital properties Coordinate with the production crew on creating spots, and assist with production, as necessary Ensuring accounts are current in payment Networking through community and publicity events Servicing existing advertising accounts at the station, also developing new local advertising accounts Presentations to local business about the benefit of advertising on the station and digital properties Coordinate with production crew on creating spots, assist with production, as necessary Ensuring accounts are current in payment Networking through community and publicity events Other duties assigned Customer service skills: Strong communication (working with clients, sales teams, and voice-over staff) Responsiveness and reliability (meeting deadlines and requests) Professionalism when representing the station at events or shoots Ability to understand client needs and translate them into content Teamwork and collaboration Adaptability when handling feedback or changes from clients/sales Reasoning abilities: Creative thinking (developing concepts, scripts, and visual ideas) Problem-solving (handling production challenges, tight timelines) Decision-making (choosing shots, edits, story angles) Organizational thinking (planning shoots, coordinating projects) Attention to detail (ensuring quality in scripts, edits, and messaging) Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Physical demands: Standing, walking, and moving during shoots and events Driving to various shoot locations Possible long or irregular hours during productions or events Work environment: Mix of office/studio and on-location work Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Collaborative setting with multiple departments (sales, news, production) Outdoor work at events or shoots in varying weather conditions Occasional high-pressure situations (live productions, telethons) Flexible schedule, possibly including evenings or weekends
Education and Experience:
Minimum 1-3 Years Experience in broadcast sales preferred High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record High school diploma, or equivalent required Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check prior to employment We need brains, ambition, and passion to serve our customers and deliver results. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
