Technology Development and Commercialization BlazeTech CEO is seeking senior staff to assist him in the commercialization of technologies developed by the company. The technologies are in the aerospace/defense business and cover safety, environment, and energy. They have been developed with funding from the Smal Business Innovation Research (SBIR/STTR) program and represent significant company assets. You can peruse the types of technologies we have developed on BlazeTech website www.blazetech.com. A screened list is available for the most promising candidates. We don't have perfect title for these roles nor perfect job descriptions. Historically, the company has been focused mainly on technology developments. We are seeking senior persons to carry out the tasks below with equity participation in the results.

We need:

1.Entrepreneur with Startup Aspiration If you want to start a technology company but lack the product, we have several technologies you can select from. These technologies have already been developed at the full-scale level (Phase II) but they need commercialization, which is your task, namely to define the market, productize the technology, organize a team, find customers, and launch a business. We can help incubate this business by providing (in addition to the technology) seed funds, workspace, mentoring and strategic support. We would be your seed investors but you will have to raise funds from additional investors. Company equity would be distributed amongst you, your team and the investors in the standard manner. The candidate must have already participated in a startup but not necessarily as the lead. 2. Businessperson with Licensing Experience Some of our technologies are suitable for licensing. These technologies have already been developed at the full-scale level (Phase II). We can deliver our results and reports on the technology and identify potential licensors, but we need someone to pursue them, develop the license agreement, and share its proceeds. The writing of the license will be done by a lawyer. 3.Engineers with Business Experience To further develop our technologies from the bench- to the full-scale level (from SBIR Phase I to SBIR Phase II) with an interest in commercialization to move the effort to items 1 or 2 above. Candidate must have a degree in Aerospace, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with several years of experience and some business interest.
