Morford's Decorating is a locally owned business providing flooring, paint, and window coverings for residential and commercial customers. We are looking for a Sales Representative / Product Manager to join our team! If you enjoy working with people, have an interest in home design, and are someone who takes pride in getting the details right, this could be a great opportunity for you. This is a full-time position that offers a variety of responsibilities. You'll work directly with customers to help bring their ideas to life while also managing the products, estimates, orders, and details that keep projects moving smoothly. What You'll Do Meet with customers to understand their needs, style, and project goals Recommend flooring products and installation options Prepare estimates, schedule meetings, and close sales Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Develop new business opportunities and relationships Order products and maintain accurate inventory records Work closely with customers, installers, and office staff to coordinate projects Develop and maintain strong knowledge of flooring products, applications, and installation requirements Assist customers with product selection and design decisions Assist with marketing and promotion through social media and other platforms Represent the values and customer-first approach of Morford's Decorating What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with a variety of people Customer-focused and enjoys helping people with their projects Interested in home design, flooring, construction, or related fields Organized and highly detail-oriented Self-motivated and able to work independently A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing Comfortable with basic math and computer technology Proficient in Excel or willing to learn Able to learn new computer programs, technology, products, and technical specifications A creative and critical thinker who enjoys solving problems Able to follow established processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy A positive team player who wants to contribute to a great work environment Qualifications Sales experience preferred High School Diploma required; college coursework encouraged Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn additional software programs Previous experience in flooring, interior design, construction, or a related field is a plus Willingness to learn is important. We are willing to train the right person! What You Can Expect This position combines sales, customer service, design, product knowledge, and project coordination , so no two days are exactly alike. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with customers, learn the technical side of the flooring industry, and see projects go from an initial idea to a finished space. We are looking for someone who wants to become knowledgeable about our products and industry and who takes pride in providing customers with a great experience.
