Integris Composites is a global supplier of ballistic protection solutions across Light, medium, and heavy vehicles, maritime platforms, aircraft, and personnel protection systems. Each segment presents its own range of protection challenges, worldwide threats and operational requirements with a plethora of varying protection level needs and design characteristics. Job Objective Manage commercial body armor portfolio to inform and enable sales strategy. Work with sales, personal protection program managers and segment lead, and Research and Development to maintain, and continuously update, a product portfolio of certified hard armor solutions for commercial and federal sale. Maintain the body armor portfolio with modern relevant products, work with R&D to maintain modernization and market capture as well as make recommendations to the segment lead on product lines to discontinue and phase-in/out timelines. Work jointly with sales and marketing teams to develop business strategy for armor portfolio, and identify market segment gaps and disruptive capabilities. Closely work with R&D to bring sales identified business opportunities and market gaps to commercial certification, enabling sales within the segment. Act as the focal point between R&D and sales to ensure customer wants and needs flow to R&D, and accurate marketing information flows back to sales. Support the segment lead and sales team in account planning, sector strategy with focus on customer priorities, participate in R&D and sales interfaces with customer stakeholders, assist program managers in tracking project progress, maintain meeting minutes and detailed timely written post-call reports. Consistently follow-up on customer projects, samples, and requests as directed by the program managers. Assist the program managers in searches for identifying and responding to opportunities in the personal protection market segments, with a focus on federal law enforcement and defense, to bring non-commercial products to Program Management for competitive bids. Identify potential trade show opportunities and provide attendance recommendations to the segment lead for commercial, federal and defense markets. Make recommendations based on likely breadth of customer interface, unfilled or poorly filled customer segments, opportunity scale, manpower and financial commitment to attendance and recommend level of participation. This position falls within the personal protection segment and supports the lead program managers and segment lead. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering, business, or related field, preferred. Government security clearance required. 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred. Defense industry experience. Coursework in project management, preferred. Understanding of federal, state and local procurement processes for critical life saving equipment (CLSE). Familiarity with and ability to communicate fluidly regarding the Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS) Understanding of Quality Management Systems and AS9100 requirements. Experience in executing projects within the Life Cycle Management (LCM) process, preferred.

An ability to manage conflict without demonstrating stress. Key Accountabilities This position will support Programmatic Technical Engineering Services & Management as well as Product Development. Management and documentation of weekly updates for R&D project stages. Documentation of weekly updates for open contracts for internal and external reporting. Update program managers and segment lead following all R&D meetings with outside customers, with emphasis on transitioning to production opportunities and timelines to opportunities. Drafting of marketing material for sales with emphasis on ballistic protection, weight, available shapes and sizes, unique performance characteristics and tailored information to target market segments. Coordinate certification and/or qualification of the product to include preparation of Qualification Test Plans, supporting information and documents for testing facility quotes and agreements, liaising with production for the fabrication of product samples and transitioning from R&D sample builds to production line. Assist the DoD Program Manager and Outside Test Director with coordinating and fulfilling documentation and actions in support of First Article Testing (FAT) and Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT) for military products. Complete life cycle management of products portfolio. Communication of input and output for design & engineering regarding drawings, deliverable design documentation for each project phase, and design changes. Provides input to the program managers in developing Qualification Test Plans, Qualification Schedules according to specifications and standards and reviews Qualification Test Reports for accuracy and completeness. Coordinates First Article Inspection (FAI) & Qualification Test article builds in conjunction with the ballistic & development engineer. Support quoting activities for all direct to Government sales and proposals across all product lines. Organization of product suite to capture specific markets. Updates to product suite based on successes and failures to capture target markets. Reviews STP and business plans from sales team to make go/no-go product decision recommendations to the segment lead. Other duties as needed or assigned by management. Travel Up to 25% travel. Key Performance Indicators Product Portfolio Management to include suite of commercial products, market strategy, cross-functional stakeholder management to support sales and R&D coordination. R&D Liaising and Product Development. Product Certification and Qualification to bring new products to market. Program Manager Support for customer responses, reporting, crisis management, third party quality certifications and coordinating with internal departments during production and contract management. Participation in business development opportunities including customer engagement and attendance at trade shows. Key Process Indicators tracked monthly. KPI's are assigned as required by business needs. Business objectives and personal objectives will be set on an annual review basis.

Pay:
$80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
