Position Overview The Senior Accountant will oversee key accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and support budgeting and financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage financial responsibilities independently while working closely with management. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger transactions. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to support timely payments and collections. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and expense analysis. Review financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. Track operating expenses, supply costs, vendor payments, and other business expenditures. Support payroll accounting, tax preparation, and required financial filings in coordination with appropriate providers. Maintain organized accounting documentation for audits and financial reviews. Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting efficiency. Provide management with financial insights to support informed business decisions. Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to maintain accurate financial information. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. At least 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines. Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity. Experience supporting budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. Commercial services, facilities management, or small-to-medium business experience is an advantage. CPA certification is a plus but is not required.

Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary:

$80,000-$100,000 , depending on qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated expertise.
