Social Media Coordinator Full time Social Media Coordinator position available for large organization in Camp Springs, MD. Skilled social media coordinator to manage the union's daily online presence, building content, schedule posts, manage followers. Responsibilities include but not limited to: producing daily posts, write captions, design graphics, film short-form videos, reply to direct messages, answer comments, monitor brand reputation, assist in development and production of podcast. Plan and publish daily/weekly updates across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, utilizing tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer etc. Track analytics and reporting, including engagement rate, reach and follower growth. Monitor emerging platform features and viral trends to keep content relevant. Proficiency in design, editing software and multimedia creation skills. Aware of trend design, keep up with viral topics and new platform features to keep content relevant. Strong copywriting skills for captions and professional tone for customer service. Ability to manage project timelines and work with tight deadlines when needed. Will also play a vital role in maintenance and development of mobile applications.
