Social Media Production Assistant Location:
Harleyville, South Carolina Compensation:
$15
  • 17 per hour
Position Type:
Temporary Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and creative Social Media Production Assistant to support national television and digital content production. This is a hands-on, on-location opportunity for someone interested in social media, video production, photography, television, and digital storytelling. The ideal candidate is comfortable capturing behind-the-scenes content, vertical video, and photography using a smartphone or camera and understands how content can be adapted for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Previous professional experience is welcome but not required. We are particularly interested in candidates who are dependable, organized, adaptable, and eager to gain practical experience working alongside a professional production team. Responsibilities
  • Assist with social media content production on location.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes photos and vertical video for social platforms.
  • Assist with short-form social content, interviews, and promotional pieces.
  • Help organize, label, and manage digital media assets.
  • Support the production team with equipment, setup, and general on-location needs.
  • Identify opportunities for timely and engaging social content during production.
  • Assist with social media content development following production.
  • Follow direction from social media and production team members.
  • Maintain professionalism, organization, and flexibility throughout the production process. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will:
  • Have an interest in social media, video production, television, photography, or digital storytelling.
  • Be comfortable capturing vertical video using a smartphone or camera.
  • Have familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a production team.
  • Be comfortable working outdoors and in an on-location production environment.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
  • Have previous experience in production, social media, communications, photography, or video — preferred but not required. Responsibilities
