Marriage Officiant — Independent Contractor (DFW) Altura Talent Agency Irving, TX Job Details Contract | Freelance $25 - $100 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Working with couples Customer service Officiating weddings Working with families Full Job Description Altura Talent Agency is recruiting independent marriage officiants to provide assignment-based coverage for Ever After clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Ever After's primary service areas are Las Colinas/Irving and McKinney, with additional assignments available throughout DFW based on client needs and contractor availability. This is an as-needed 1099 independent contractor opportunity. There is no fixed schedule or guaranteed number of hours or assignments. Contractors receive assignment details and compensation in advance and may accept or decline based on availability.

Responsibilities :

Perform Sign & Go legal marriage signings Officiate simple vow exchanges and intimate ceremonies Complete and sign Texas marriage licenses accurately Follow assignment-specific instructions regarding license handling or return Arrive on time and prepared for accepted assignments Communicate promptly regarding assignment acceptance, questions, delays, and completion Travel to client-selected locations when an assignment is accepted Maintain a professional, client-facing experience Assignments may take place at our primary service areas or at residences, venues, hotels, courthouses, outdoor locations, and other agreed locations throughout DFW.

Requirements :

Legally authorized to solemnize marriages in Texas Reliable transportation Strong communication and punctuality Comfortable working independently Ability to respond reasonably quickly to time-sensitive assignment offers Reliable completion of accepted assignments

Compensation :

Compensation is assignment-based. Short local assignments typically start at $25, with higher compensation based on service type, scope, location, travel, and other assignment requirements. Applicable travel compensation is disclosed before acceptance.

Schedule :

Flexible and assignment-based. Weekday, evening, weekend, and occasional short-notice opportunities may be available. Independent Contractor / 1099 Primary areas: Las Colinas/Irving and McKinney Additional coverage:

Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Pay:

$25.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 10.0 per week
