Princess Character Performer Princesses, Heroes & Party Characters Entertainment Visalia, CA Job Details Contract $35 - $65 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Crowd interaction Event customer service Full Job Description Princess Character Performer - Mostly Weekend Events Princesses, Heroes & Party Characters Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and outgoing performers to portray fairytale princess characters at children's birthday parties, school functions, community events, and special celebrations throughout Visalia, Tulare County, and surrounding areas. This is an as-needed, booking-based position. It does not provide guaranteed weekly hours or a set part-time or full-time schedule. Work opportunities depend on customer bookings, requested characters, casting needs, performer availability, and event location. Most bookings take place on Saturdays and Sundays, although occasional weekday and evening opportunities may become available. Performer Pay 30-minute booking: $35 1-hour booking: $50 1.5-hour booking: $65 Pay is provided per completed booking based on the scheduled event package. Responsibilities Portray assigned princess characters professionally Remain in character throughout the event Greet and interact with children and families Pose for photographs Lead simple games, dancing, stories, and birthday activities Follow character-specific mannerisms and presentation standards Wear company-provided costumes, wigs, makeup, accessories, and character shoes Arrive punctually and completely prepared for accepted bookings Follow instructions from the event host or company representative Help create a safe, positive, and memorable experience for every child Qualifications Friendly, energetic, patient, and comfortable around children Dependable, punctual, and professional Confident speaking and performing in front of groups Reliable transportation to and from scheduled events Regular weekend availability preferred Willing to attend a costume fitting and follow character-presentation standards Willing to receive training and constructive feedback Able to honor bookings once accepted and communicate immediately in a genuine emergency Must meet applicable employment-eligibility requirements Acting, theater, singing, dance, childcare, teaching, customer-service, or children's-entertainment experience is helpful but not required. Training may be provided to strong candidates. Applicants are not required to accept every booking offered. However, once a booking is accepted and confirmed, it becomes a professional commitment because a family and child are depending on the performer's arrival.
