Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Experienced Hip Hop and/or Break Dance Teacher to inspire and energize students of all ages through the art of urban dance. In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead energetic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and physical expression. Your expertise will help students develop their dance skills while promoting teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate foundational techniques, choreography, and performance skills in hip hop and break dance styles Lead lively, motivating dance classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring all participants are engaged and challenged Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful, inclusive, and energetic learning environment Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique, style, and stage presence Incorporate elements of curriculum development to enhance lesson quality and progression over time Support students' overall development by fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence through dance activities Collaborate with other instructors on special projects such as performances, workshops, or community events Qualifications Proven experience teaching hip hop and/or break dance styles with a strong portfolio of choreography or performances Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to different age groups and skill levels Classroom management skills that promote a positive learning environment while maintaining discipline Experience working with children, teenagers, or adults in educational or recreational settings Knowledge of dance techniques such as ballet or theater arts is a plus for versatile teaching approaches Ability to plan lessons effectively while incorporating creative elements like photography or stage presence techniques Strong communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with team members effectively Join us in inspiring the next generation of dancers!
