HOUSE OF MOTION
House of Motion is a growing youth dance organization focused on creating a fun, structured, positive, and empowering environment for young dancers. We are building our founding coaching team and looking for passionate coaches who want to help us develop confident dancers, strong performers, and an amazing team culture from the ground up.

Majorette Dance Coach Hip-Hop Dance Coach
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead weekly practices and dance instruction Create fun, age-appropriate choreography Teach technique, conditioning, performance skills, and stage presence Work with beginner and experienced dancers Prepare dancers for performances, showcases, competitions, fundraisers, and community events Help evaluate dancers and assist with team placement Encourage confidence, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship Maintain a safe, structured, and positive practice environment Communicate professionally with House of Motion leadership, staff, dancers, and parents Attend required practices, performances, meetings, and team events
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous majorette, hip-hop, competitive dance, or dance instruction experience preferred Coaching or teaching experience with children/teens is strongly preferred Strong choreography and leadership skills Dependable, punctual, energetic, and professional Patient and comfortable working with dancers of different ages and skill levels Strong communication skills Must be willing to follow House of Motion policies and expectations Must be able to pass a background check
SCHEDULE
Part-time position. Afternoon/evening and weekend availability preferred. Final practice schedule and location will be discussed with selected candidates.
COMPENSATION
Competitive part-time/contract compensation based on experience, position, responsibilities, and final practice schedule.
