Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and talented Church Singer to bring vibrant musical energy and spiritual inspiration to our worship services and community events. As a key member of our musical team, you will support congregational singing, and collaborate with other musicians to create an uplifting worship experience. Your role is vital in fostering a welcoming atmosphere that enriches spiritual connection through music Responsibilities Support congregational singing during worship services Perform a variety of musical styles including hymn music, gospel, and contemporary religious compositions Collaborate with church musicians, choir directors, and clergy to select appropriate music for services and events Ability to learn and sing harmonies/supporting vocals with main worship leader willing to learn how to work playback tracks Incorporate musical improvisation and composition techniques to create engaging musical transitions and harmonies Ensure optimal sound quality by working with audio technicians or managing acoustic treatment when necessary Skills Heart for worship and commitment, good communication. Proven experience performing as well as within church environments Proficiency in playing multiple musical instruments if relevant Harmonizing abilities
