Job Summary This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the music and event production and would provide hands-on experience outside of the classroom. PVCC's music program is filling a federal work-study position to serve as the music program's production assistant. The position will assist the music program with technical events needs such as audio system design, audio system installation and operation for concerts and events both on and off campus. The position may also serve as a lab monitor for the electronic music lab and assist students with audio hardware and software questions as they work on the course projects.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with the installation and operation of an audio system for an event, or successful completion of MUC197-Live Sound Reinforcement I. Experience with audio production and recording software, including ProTools and Ableton, or successful complete of MUC191-Electronic Music I. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet short deadlines and thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Availability to work nights and weekends to support music events.
