Calling All Singers! Valley Presbyterian Church in beautiful Portola Valley is looking for talented and kindhearted section leads (in all three parts: Soprano, Alto, and Tenor) to join our choir for the new season 2026/2027. If you have a passion for music that spans across so many genres, have relevant choral experience, and enjoy singing in a genuinely caring, supporting, and fully inclusive community, we would love to hear from you. Here's what you need to know:
Rehearsals:
Every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Schedule:
The choir sings twice a month (not every Sunday), and the schedule is provided well in advance for easy planning. On those Sundays, call time is 9:45 a.m. for rehearsal and warm-up, and church ends around 11:45 a.m.
Requirements:
Good sight-reading skills, a decent vocal range, and—most importantly—a kind and collaborative spirit.
Compensation:
Pay is $44-$60 per hour, based on education and experience.
