The Truman State University Department of Music invites applications for the position of Staff Collaborative Pianist. This is a nine-month, renewable, benefits-eligible position to begin in 2026 at the successful candidate's earliest availability. Collaborate with vocal and instrumental students in lessons, juries, and recitals. Collaborate with faculty and guest artists in performances. Support ensemble performances as needed. Other related duties as assigned.

The Community :
Located in northeast Missouri, Kirksville is a cultural and economic hub in the region. Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in collaborative piano or piano performance. Excellent collaborative performance skills. Excellent sight-reading skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to collegiality within the learning community.
Preferred Qualifications:
ABD or doctorate in collaborative piano or piano performance. Extensive knowledge of instrumental and vocal repertoire. Accompanying experience beyond graduate assistantship.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $36,596 annually.
