Teaching Artists/Musicians Who Sing for Baby Music Classes & Parties Maplewood, NJ $50

• Part-time Seeking NJ-based guitarists or ukulele players who sing very well to be lead teachers for toddler music classes and parties throughout New Jersey.

Must have a car to travel to classes and parties throughout NJ. Classes/parties are for children ages 0-5 years and their caregivers. Our classes are semester-based (5-10 week commitments) and birthday parties are mostly weekend gigs. Part-time position. Weekend and weekday work available.

Qualifications:

• Seeking skilled guitarists or ukulele players who sing very well to lead 45 minute music classes and birthday parties for children & their caregivers.
• Hard-working, professional and dedicated with a positive attitude!
• Must be friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills.
• Must love kids!
• Excellent knowledge of fundamental chords and the ability to learn material by listening to recordings and/or reading charts.
• This position requires a very strong singing and speaking voice with the ability to command a room of very young children and their adult caregivers.
• Ability to memorize and retain lyrics to multiple songs, rhymes, and language activities.
• Experience teaching or working with children is preferred.
