This musician will accompany a guitarist, help lead congregational singing, and contribute to creating a warm, engaging worship environment. We strive to create a space where everyone feels seen, valued, and embraced. Responsibilities Provide piano accompaniment for worship from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm every Sunday. We have a single worship service at 10:30. Collaborate musically with our guitarist and worship team to support congregational singing. Play for seasonal services (e.g., Advent, Christmas, Holy Week, Easter) Accompany seasonal choir rehearsals and performances Participate in brief mid‑week communication with the Music Director to coordinate music selection, service flow, and role assignments for the upcoming Sunday. Arrive prepared, punctual, and ready to contribute to a cohesive worship experience. Maintain a positive, team‑oriented attitude that supports the spiritual life of the congregation. Qualifications Strong piano proficiency and comfort accompanying other musicians. Comfortable performing from sheet music, lead sheets, and chord charts Ability to adapt to a variety of worship music styles Vocal ability (melody and harmony) is preferred but not required. Experience in church or worship settings preferred but not required. Reliable communication habits and willingness to coordinate weekly with the Music Director. Ability to sight‑read or learn music efficiently.
