Sawgrass Village, Ponte Vedra Beach About the Opportunity Tidal Shield Insurance is a growing independent insurance agency based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial insurance producer who wants to build their own book of business with the support and resources of an established independent agency. Because Tidal Shield is still in its early stages, this position is very different from a traditional W-2 insurance sales role. This is a 1099, commission-only opportunity where the producer is essentially building their own business from the ground up. We provide the carrier access, quoting systems, technology, resources, guidance, and support of our established Coastal Shield Insurance team . You provide the drive to generate business through prospecting, networking, developing Realtor and lender relationships, cultivating referral partners, and creating your own opportunities. In many ways, we describe it as building your own small insurance business without having to build an agency from scratch. You have the independence to develop your own book and relationships while having our infrastructure, carrier access, experience, and team behind you. Who We're Looking For A Florida 2-20 license is required for this position. Because this is a remote/hybrid role, we are looking for someone who is already experienced and can work independently without extensive day-to-day training or supervision.

The ideal candidate:

Holds an active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty license Has experience quoting and selling personal lines insurance Is a self-starter who is comfortable generating their own business Enjoys networking and developing Realtor, lender, and other referral relationships Is comfortable working independently in a remote/hybrid environment Wants to build a long-term book and recurring renewal income Understands and specifically wants a 1099, commission-only opportunity What We Provide You'll receive a 70% producer commission split , access to our agency's carrier markets and systems, potential bonuses from carriers, support from our experienced Coastal Shield team, underwriting and placement guidance, and optional office space in Sawgrass Village in Ponte Vedra Beach . You'll have the freedom to manage your own schedule and develop your own business while still having an experienced independent agency behind you. Important to Know Before Applying This is not a salaried W-2 position . There is no base salary, guaranteed income, employer-sponsored health insurance, or guaranteed stream of agency-provided leads.
