Account Executive
Job Description
Job Overview The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding existing accounts through a consultative sales approach. This position focuses on driving revenue growth by identifying prospects, conducting sales appointments, recommending insurance and risk management solutions, and collaborating with internal service teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. The Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor to clients while actively pursuing new opportunities in commercial, personal, life, health, and employee benefits lines, as applicable.
Salary Range:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary

Insurance sales experience preferred. Property & Casualty license required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe. Skills & Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships and earn client trust. Self-motivated with a strong sales orientation. Excellent prospecting and closing abilities. Strong time management and organization skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with agency management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft 365 applications. Responsibilities Business Development Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve individual revenue and production goals. Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, community involvement, and targeted outreach. Generate qualified leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Conduct client and prospect meetings to uncover needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate and close new business opportunities. Account Growth and Retention Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and centers of influence. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products and services. Participate in account reviews and renewal strategy discussions. Work collaboratively with service team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Assist in resolving client concerns and coverage issues when necessary. Relationship Management Develop long-term relationships with business owners, individuals, and community partners. Serve as a trusted resource regarding insurance, risk management, and related services. Maintain regular contact with clients and prospects. Represent the agency at community, networking, and industry events. Sales Administration Maintain accurate prospect and client records within agency management and CRM systems. Track sales activity, pipeline development, and production results. Ensure all documentation and applications are completed accurately and timely. Remain current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
