You own the full sales cycle from lead to signature — inbound, outbound, demos (remote and on-site), and close without waiting on a founder. Success means building trust with pragmatic restaurant owners, talking in operational terms (not tech jargon), and selling solutions that actually improve profitability and cut stress. What you will do Hit quota through new restaurant customers and expansion revenue (POS, phone systems, integrated solutions, hardware, modules, services, and extra locations) Work inbound fast — chat, web forms, phone inquiries, and referrals — and run systematic outbound (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and local networking) Qualify hard against our ideal customer profile, disqualify bad-fit deals early, and quantify the profit and operations impact Run discovery and demos in restaurant language, on Zoom/Teams or on-site, tailored to that operator's type of restaurant Compete on total cost and freedom — transparent quotes, honest comparisons, and objection handling without high-pressure tactics Quote and close hardware, software, maintenance, and implementation; negotiate within approved guardrails; keep deals moving Run a clean pipeline — CRM updated within one business day, weekly forecast to the VP of Sales, monthly cleanup of stale deals Hand off well to implementation, stay close for the first 90 days, then ask for referrals and expansion Feed the company competitive intel, product requests, and customer success stories Attend local restaurant-owner groups, chamber events, and trade shows, and re-engage dormant leads What you need 2-5 years of B2B sales in technology, SaaS, or business services, with a proven quota track record Full-cycle hunter experience: you prospect, cold call, and build your own pipeline — not wait for a calendar of inbound only Experience selling to small business owners (restaurants, retail, hospitality, or similar) Consultative / solution selling, not transactional order-taking; you close independently Strong discovery, qualification, objection handling, and follow-up; comfortable managing 20-30 live opportunities Clear spoken and written English; demos in person and remotely Quick learner on CRM and restaurant POS; basic comfort with payments, networking, and cloud (or willingness to learn) Self-directed, accurate with forecasts and data, and consistent about next steps High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site demos across DFW (most of the role is within about a 2-hour radius) Home office with reliable internet; occasional evenings or weekends for owner meetings or events You'll stand out if you have Restaurant industry background (worked in a restaurant, managed one, or sold into the vertical) DFW market knowledge and relationships with independent operators Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM experience Familiarity with Toast, Square, Clover, or other POS systems (user or sales side) Spanish language proficiency SMB SaaS or recurring-revenue experience How we win vs. the big guys 26-year reputation with relationship-first service for independents No forced credit card processor lock-in — customers keep their choice and often save thousands a year Phone system integration built for high-volume restaurant calling 24/7 US-based support from Grapevine restaurant specialists Offline functionality when the internet fails, so the restaurant is not dead in the water Benefits Medical, dental, and vision options Paid time off and company holidays Laptop, mobile phone, and demo equipment provided Mileage reimbursement for customer visits Professional development Who this is for You are resilient after a no, competitive about the number, honest about what the product can and cannot do, coachable, and accountable for wins and losses. You actually care whether independent restaurant owners succeed. Foodtronix is an equal opportunity employer.
