About the role:
As a Logistics Account Executive with RTG, you will be working for and an active participant in the growth of our freight brokerage. With our support, you will establish and maintain your book of business and handle your customers' transportation needs. We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team. If you are a problem-solver, attentive to detail, are self-motivated and have the drive for financial freedom, then this is the role for you.
You will:
Make calls to establish relationships and build your book of business Nurture and optimize relationships with existing customers Negotiate price with shippers and carriers Manage daily shipments, resolving any issues, to ensure pickup and delivery is on time, 24/7/365. Be honest, professional and preventative in all your communications
Qualifications:
Associate's degree (preferred) 1+ years experience in the logistics and transportation industry (preferred) Sales experience (preferred) Confident and skilled in negotiations and the ability to manage conflict (required) Proficient in the use of computer programs (required)
