Job Description

Account Manager Overview Account Managers are among the most important employees at Specialty Print Communications ("SPC"). They are involved in the entire life cycle of all jobs SPC produces. Account Managers gather specifications, art and other data from clients and SPC's internal sales force, interpret that information and coordinate with production teams and schedulers to ensure that jobs are produced effectively, efficiently and on time.

Requirements/Qualifications Account Managers must:

(i) have outstanding project management skills; (ii) understand workflow processes; (iii) be able to manage interdepartmental relationships; (iv) have excellent oral and written communication skills; (v) be able to work in a fast-paced environment; and (vi) instill client confidence. Duties/Responsibilities Serve as the central point of communication between all departments and clients on highly specialized commercial printing projects. Mark-up proofs with special information (e.g., perfs, scores, die-cuts, remoist or spot glue applications, scratch-offs, spot varnish, UV or aqueous coatings), send to clients and track their delivery and returns. Provide proofs as mock-ups for the bindery and plant to follow for finishing. Mark all color OK proofs or provide marked-up color samples for press to follow.
