Account Manager/ Insurance Representative Location:

Downtown Wheaton, IL Office Hours:

M-F 9:30am-6pm (Weekends, Holidays, or Off-hours by appointment only) We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team at American Family Insurance in Downtown Wheaton, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong preference for those with a background in American Family Insurance and can speak more than just English.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain client relationships to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions. Sell and service a variety of insurance products, including auto, home, renters, life, and more. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist clients with benefits administration and ensure they understand their coverage options. Conduct policy reviews and updates to ensure clients have adequate coverage. Assist clients with claims processing and provide exceptional customer service. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and company policies. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the agency. Engage in marketing efforts to generate leads and expand the client base.

Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in the insurance industry. (Willing to train if not) Preferably with experience working with American Family Insurance products and systems. (Willing to train if not) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish, Tagalog and Ilocano is a plus. Valid insurance license in the state of Illinois. A proactive approach to analyzing client needs and providing tailored solutions. Must possess a valid insurance license or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
