Job Description

Job Summary The Rental Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing the check-in and check-out of rental equipment, inspecting equipment for damage, documenting equipment condition, and providing light customer service. This position also supports general office and operational tasks, including paperwork, filing, phone calls, and basic sales assistance. Key Responsibilities Check rental equipment in and out accurately and efficiently. Inspect equipment before and after each rental for damage, wear, or missing components. Take photos and videos of rental equipment before and after customer use to document its condition Record equipment condition and report any damage or issues to management. Assist customers with rental questions and provide professional, courteous service. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries. Provide basic sales assistance and help customers with rental options and general information. Complete paperwork, filing, data entry, and other administrative duties. Maintain accurate rental records and documentation. Assist with general day-to-day operational tasks as needed. Help keep the rental and office areas organized and professional. Communicate equipment issues, customer concerns, and operational needs to the appropriate team members. Qualifications Previous experience in equipment rental, customer service, office administration, or a similar environment preferred. Good computer skills and ability to learn rental or business software. Strong attention to detail, particularly when inspecting and documenting equipment condition. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to answer phones and handle customer inquiries in a courteous manner. Basic sales skills and confidence speaking with customers. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy work environment. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Hours are Monday through Friday - first shift The pay is up to $25.00 an hour based on experience Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Long and short term disability Life insurance 401
