At Nulls Creek Rental & Supply , we provide our community with the heavy machinery, construction tools, and homeowner equipment they need to get the job done right. We pride ourselves on top-tier customer service, reliable equipment, and a safe, hardworking environment. We are currently looking for a motivated and hands-on Equipment Store Assistant to join our front-line team. This is an entry-level position.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
Greet walk-in and phone customers, determine their equipment needs, and help process rental reservations using our store software.
Equipment Prep & Maintenance:
Inspect, clean, and test returned equipment (e.g., chainsaws, generators, skid steers) to ensure it is safe, fueled, and ready for the next rental.
Yard Organization:
Keep the rental yard and showroom clean, orderly, and well-stocked with necessary supplies, parts, and safety gear.
Loading & Unloading:
Safely operate equipment to load and unload rental items for customers and transport trucks.
Demonstrations:
Safely demonstrate to customers how to start, operate, and troubleshoot the tools they are renting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
Physical Ability:
Must be capable of lifting and moving equipment frequently (up to 45 lbs.) and standing/working in an active, sometimes outdoor environment.
Customer Skills:
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills with a positive attitude.
Technical Aptitude:
Basic knowledge or a strong willingness to learn about tools, construction equipment, and basic mechanics. Basic computer skills.
