Machine Tool Strategic Account Manager

Aerospace and Defense

Remote - 40-60% travel

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field

10+ years of technical sales, strategic account management, or business development experience within aerospace, defense or industrial manufacturing Established relationships with aerospace/defense manufacturers, defense contractors, or Tier 1/Tier 2 manufacturing suppliers

Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, supplier qualification, and program-driven aerospace/defense sourcing processes

Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert complex strategic opportunities across multiple stakeholders, facilities, or programs

Working knowledge of precision manufacturing processes — CNC machining, workholding, tooling, automation, or related technologies

Experience engaging manufacturing engineering, operations, program management, procurement, and executive-level decision-makers

Ability to work independently, manage multiple pursuits, and travel up to 60% nationally

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (ITAR requirement)

Experience working in a matrixed commercial organization
