Job Description

Job Summary This position is primarily responsible for managing and growing RIX North America's relationships with both existing and new customer accounts. In addition to core account management duties, the Senior Account Manager proactively secures new product adoptions, pursues new business opportunities, and independently manages complex sales situations. Some overnight travel is required to visit customer sites. Account Management & Business Development Responsibilities Conduct daily face-to-face visits with both existing and new customer accounts to build and maintain strong relationships. Identify customer needs and present suitable product proposals; prepare and send accurate quotations and set pricing. Drive sales growth across assigned existing accounts. Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in-person visits, and provide timely follow-up. Identify and secure new product adoptions through proactive introductions and proposals. Research and develop new business opportunities and customer accounts. Set goals jointly with a supervisor and independently execute against the plan. Manage complex sales opportunities and make sound decisions within delegated authority. Apply mechanical knowledge and the ability to read component drawings to support technical sales conversations. Travel to customer sites as needed, including occasional overnight trips. Required Qualifications Associate's degree (2-year college) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in outside/field sales. Mechanical knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex sales opportunities. Valid driver's license and passport; ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight trips. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications / Experience Prior experience managing both existing and new customer accounts. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Familiarity with Japanese business practices. Our workplace includes both English- and Japanese-speaking team members and reflects an international, multicultural business environment. Japanese language ability is not required for this position; familiarity with Japanese business practices is a plus.

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
