Job Summary Divine Celebrations is seeking a creative, organized, and client-focused Event Designer to join our growing luxury event team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about weddings, event décor, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. The Event Designer will work directly with clients from the initial consultation through event execution, helping bring each client's vision to life while maintaining the elevated service and design standards our company is known for. This role combines creativity, customer service, sales, organization, and hands-on event involvement. Key Responsibilities Conduct client consultations both in-person and virtually Create event design concepts based on client vision, theme, and budget Build and manage client proposals, invoices, and event details Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the planning process Coordinate décor selections including linens, florals, staging, backdrops, draping, candles, and specialty rentals Serve as the liaison between clients, vendors, rental partners, and the internal team Assist with mock setups, showroom preparation, and design presentations Ensure all event details are properly communicated for event execution Support event setup and styling on event days as needed Maintain organized client files, timelines, and payment tracking Provide a high-end, professional client experience from inquiry to completion Assist with social media content, behind-the-scenes footage, and event marketing when needed Qualifications Previous experience in event planning, event design, weddings, hospitality, or luxury client services preferred Strong eye for design, color palettes, and overall aesthetics Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable managing multiple events and deadlines simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable, professional, and solution-oriented Weekend availability is required Ability to assist with event setups and lift décor items when needed Experience with Canva, social media, Google Workspace, or CRM systems is a plus Experience with rental or event software systems is a plus Compensation Starting at $18/hour Commission opportunities based on bookings and conversions Opportunities for advancement and growth within the company Flexible scheduling opportunities Creative and team-oriented work environment Please attach your resume
