Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an e-commerce consultant/expert to help set up and develop our whatnot shows. We run an estate sale business in South Mississippi and want to use whatnot opportunistically to sell some of our estates' inventory. This could be an ongoing/part-time position or a temporary consulting position, depending on how the collaboration develops. Time requirements are VERY flexible, and some work can be remote. Looking for someone with lots of personal experience selling through the whatnot platform who can help educate us to get our shows up and running quickly, boost sales & visibility, and advise on product focus, logistics management and show organization/listing procedures. Responsibilities Advise on best procedures for using the platform within our product categories Expedite the learning curve for us: get us to proficiency & success on this platform quickly Coach on what item type we should focus on from a given estate Help create easy/uncomplicated setup and operational procedures for the shows, based on our goals and timelines Advise on ways to boost sales and visibility Moderate shows as needed Some independent hosting of shows through our platform/account on whatnot Skills In-depth experience with selling on whatnot Flexible schedule Good communication skills to teach/coach/consult Experience with vintage, antiques, resale, thrifting, or estate sales a plus but not necessary
