About Vitruvian Vitruvian is changing how communities build and how people enter the skilled trades. We operate across two core areas:
Advanced Construction:
Using 3D printing and advanced manufacturing to build homes, furniture, retaining walls, molds, stage and event structures, and other custom projects.
Workforce Development:
Training people for careers in construction, digital fabrication, advanced manufacturing, and related skilled trades. Both sides of our business are relationship-driven. Our partners include schools, workforce organizations, economic development groups, local governments, land banks, parks, developers, manufacturers, and community organizations. We are looking for a Marketing & Outreach Coordinator who can help tell that story, represent Vitruvian in the community, build relationships, and make sure opportunities do not get lost. This is not a desk-only marketing position. You will create content, attend events, visit projects, meet people, conduct outreach, and help turn those interactions into long-term relationships. What You'll Do Social Media & Content Creation You will own Vitruvian's content calendar and maintain a consistent flow of content across LinkedIn and Instagram.
Responsibilities include:
Create and publish approximately 20 social media posts per month Capture photo and video content at projects, trainings, events, and facilities Shoot and edit content showing our equipment, builds, trainees, and completed projects Write posts highlighting projects, partnerships, grants, workforce programs, clients, and team members Build and maintain a library of reusable photo and video content Monitor comments and messages and route important inquiries to the appropriate team member Coordinate with staff before publishing participant photos or sensitive program information Track performance and provide a simple monthly report covering what worked and what should change Maintain the content calendar without requiring constant reminders Content may include: 3D-printed construction projects Homes, retaining walls, furniture, molds, and custom structures Workforce training programs and participant success stories Schools and universities partnering with Vitruvian Government and grant-funded projects Strategic and funding partners Vitruvian's 3D printing and manufacturing equipment Materials, processes, and behind-the-scenes production You will also help build and execute the content campaign surrounding Vitruvian's first open house, including promotion before the event, live coverage, and follow-up content. Events & Community Outreach Vitruvian participates in events throughout Ohio, and this role will frequently represent the company in person.
Typical events include:
Facility tours Job and career fairs School and CTE events Workforce development meetings Training graduations and milestones Industry conferences Economic development meetings County, city, land bank, and port authority events Community and partner open houses For outside events, you will: Research who will be attending and identify people worth meeting Prepare materials before the event Represent Vitruvian professionally Introduce the company and explain what we do Build relationships with attendees Collect contact information and business cards Capture photos and videos when appropriate Enter contacts and follow-up actions into our CRM Follow up while conversations are still current You will also help organize Vitruvian's own open house , including the invite list, promotion, visitor experience, day-of support, and follow-up. Outreach, Business Development & CRM A major part of this role is helping Vitruvian build and maintain relationships. You will conduct outreach to organizations such as: County land banks Parks and wildlife organizations Architecture firms Housing developers Event and festival builders Community colleges School districts Career technical education programs Manufacturers Economic development organizations Government and community partners Responsibilities include: Research organizations that fit Vitruvian's target markets Identify the correct decision-makers Find accurate emails, phone numbers, and LinkedIn profiles Conduct initial outreach through email and LinkedIn Follow up with contacts who have gone quiet Schedule calls and facility tours Maintain accurate CRM records Keep notes, status, and next steps current Hand qualified opportunities to senior team members for further development We already have a substantial relationship database. Your job is to expand it, keep it accurate, and make sure opportunities continue moving forward. What We're Looking For This role is a strong fit for someone who is: Comfortable meeting and talking with new people A strong written communicator Organized and dependable Comfortable taking photos and videos Able to create professional social media content Willing to attend events and travel locally or regionally Comfortable conducting cold and warm outreach Persistent with follow-up Able to work independently without waiting for constant direction Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities Detail-oriented enough to maintain a CRM accurately Interested in construction, manufacturing, workforce development, economic development, or technology You do not need to already understand 3D-printed construction. You do need to be curious enough to learn it and confident enough to explain it to other people. Tools We Use You should be comfortable learning and working with: Gmail Google Drive LinkedIn Instagram Asana Discord CRM spreadsheets Clockify Experience with all of these is not required. Why This Role Matters This position sits at the intersection of marketing, community engagement, and business development. A social media post may introduce Vitruvian to a new school district. A conversation at an economic development event may turn into a construction project. A workforce event may create a new training partnership. A properly logged contact may become a client six months later. Your job is to help make sure those connections happen and that none of them get lost.
Pay:
$18.25 - $30.40 per hour
