Mindful Weigh is seeking a personable, organized part-time Community Outreach & Referral Coordinator to help introduce our medical weight-management program to healthcare and behavioral-health professionals throughout the Salem, NRV, Roanoke, and Botetourt/Daleville area. This position is primarily community and provider outreach , not strictly social-media management. The coordinator will build awareness of Mindful Weigh, develop relationships with local referral sources, distribute professional referral materials, and track the effectiveness of outreach efforts. Primary Responsibilities Visit local therapy practices, primary-care offices, OB/GYN practices, psychiatry offices, sleep medicine, endocrinology, orthopedics/PT and other appropriate referral sources. Deliver Mindful Weigh provider packets, patient flyers and referral forms. Briefly explain the program to office managers, referral coordinators, nurses and clinicians. Obtain the appropriate referral/contact person for each practice. Follow up with offices after the initial introduction rather than simply leaving materials. Maintain an organized referral-source database. Track referrals and scheduled patients by source. Restock brochures and referral forms when needed. Help increase awareness of Mindful Weigh among existing Renew clinicians and patients. Identify community events or professional networking opportunities that could appropriately introduce the program. Provide a short weekly outreach report to practice leadership.
