The company delivers advanced polymer processing solutions that help manufacturers improve productivity, product quality, and operational efficiency Job Description S&OP and IBP Leadership Lead and continuously improve the organization's S&OP and IBP processes. Establish governance, planning cadence, decision-making frameworks, and escalation procedures. Drive cross-functional alignment around a single, integrated operating plan. Facilitate Executive S&OP reviews and ensure accountability for actions and outcomes. Develop planning standards, policies, and operating procedures. Demand and Supply Planning Partner with Commercial leadership to develop accurate demand forecasts and demand plans. Improve forecast accuracy through structured analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead supply planning efforts to balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory, and supplier capabilities. Identify risks and opportunities within the demand and supply network and develop mitigation strategies. Capacity Planning and Production Alignment Own enterprise capacity planning and constraint management processes. Align planning outputs with production scheduling, procurement, and inventory strategies. Evaluate alternative scenarios to address bottlenecks, changing customer demand, and resource constraints. Support achievement of service, delivery, and operational performance targets. Financial Integration Partner closely with Finance to translate operational plans into revenue, margin, cost, and working capital projections. Ensure operational forecasts remain aligned with financial forecasts and budget expectations. Lead scenario planning and analyze the financial impact of capacity, inventory, and demand changes. Maintain visibility to business risks and opportunities impacting operational and financial performance. Inventory and Working Capital Optimization Develop inventory strategies that balance customer service requirements with working capital objectives. Drive initiatives to improve inventory turns and reduce excess or obsolete inventory. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to optimize stocking, replenishment, and lead-time strategies. Performance Management and Continuous Improvement Establish and monitor key S&OP metrics, including: Forecast Accuracy Plan Adherence On-Time Delivery Inventory Turns Capacity Utilization Backlog Health Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions when performance deviates from plan. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness and business performance. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, operations planning, manufacturing planning, or related leadership roles. Proven experience implementing or transforming S&OP and/or IBP processes. Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect operational decisions to business performance. Experience within complex manufacturing environments, including engineered-to-order, configure-to-order, or project-based operations. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
