$200,000+Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead and grow a high-performing sales organization within the medical imaging and healthcare technology industry.

This is a hands-on sales leadership position for a proven sales leader who enjoys working directly with customers and alongside sales professionals in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing the sales team, expanding customer relationships, and building a strong, measurable sales pipeline across the Great Lakes region.

The successful candidate will combine strategic sales leadership with a strong personal selling presence and will play an important role in taking an established organization to its next stage of growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve revenue and sales activity goals.

Spend significant time in the field working alongside sales representatives to develop opportunities, advance deals, and close business.

Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline across the assigned territory.

Develop and execute sales strategies that support consistent year-over-year revenue growth.

Participate personally in key customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, negotiations, and major equipment opportunities.

Develop and strengthen relationships with hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, orthopedic practices, government/VA facilities, and other healthcare organizations.

Identify new markets, prospective customers, and business development opportunities.

Establish clear sales expectations, performance metrics, forecasting processes, and accountability across the sales organization.

Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing sales professionals.

Work closely with senior leadership and strategic business partners to execute the company's growth strategy.

Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunities.

Help create a culture focused on collaboration, accountability, curiosity, perseverance, and customer service.

Take an active role in major sales opportunities from initial strategy through final close.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:

Proven success in sales leadership with a consistent record of business growth.

Significant experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams.

Strong knowledge of sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales execution.

A hands-on, field-oriented approach to sales leadership.

Demonstrated ability to improve both individual and team sales performance.

Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to develop long-term relationships with healthcare customers and decision-makers.

Strong business development and prospecting capabilities.

Ability to balance strategic planning with direct involvement in day-to-day sales activities.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

A competitive and entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of accountability.

Ability to motivate a team, create urgency, and drive measurable results.

Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Great Lakes region.
