This is a hands-on role for a proactive, organized self-starter who can identify opportunities, build relationships, coordinate events and sponsorships, and work directly with attorneys to turn ideas into meaningful business-development initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the firm's marketing and business-development program, work closely with attorneys and firm leadership, and help shape how the firm builds its reputation and relationships within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate enjoys finding opportunities rather than waiting for assignments, is comfortable managing multiple priorities independently, and brings strong judgment, organization, communication, and follow-through. What You'll Do Research and identify healthcare conferences, associations, speaking engagements, webinars, podcasts, CLEs, sponsorships, and networking opportunities. Proactively pursue speaking and thought-leadership opportunities for firm attorneys, including submissions, abstracts, biographies, and presentation materials. Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, conference organizers, professional groups, and external partners. Manage conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, webinars, and other business-development events from planning through post-event follow-up. Evaluate sponsorship and event opportunities based on audience, strategic fit, visibility, and business-development potential. Work directly with attorneys to establish goals, identify priority contacts, and prepare for industry events and engagements. Create and coordinate marketing materials, attorney biographies, practice descriptions, presentations, one-pagers, signage, and other collateral. Manage outside designers, printers, promotional-product vendors, and other marketing vendors. Maintain organized calendars and pipelines of opportunities, deadlines, events, and follow-up activities. Track business-development activity and results to identify the organizations and opportunities that generate meaningful relationships. Ensure marketing materials and activities comply with applicable attorney advertising and professional-responsibility requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. 4-7 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, events, communications, or a related field. Experience coordinating or developing business-development initiatives, events, conferences, sponsorships, or professional relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization, project management, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and move projects forward with limited day-to-day supervision. Strong judgment and the ability to evaluate opportunities and make recommendations. Preferences Experience in healthcare, healthcare services, healthcare law, reimbursement, regulatory matters, or another regulated industry. Experience with legal marketing, attorney business development, professional-services marketing, or practice-group marketing. Experience developing relationships with professional associations, trade organizations, conference organizers, or industry groups. Experience securing or coordinating speaking engagements, panels, webinars, podcasts, CLEs, or thought-leadership opportunities. Working knowledge of attorney advertising rules and professional-responsibility considerations. Experience working directly with attorneys, partners, executives, or other subject-matter experts. Salary Range $110,000-$135,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
