Position Summary:

The Food Sales Manager provides administrative, operational, and customer support to the Food Sales Department, serving as a key link between customers, sales, warehouse operations, and contract administration. This position is responsible for customer support, pricing review, sales reporting, bid administration, and maintaining sales and customer data. The Food Sales Manager works closely with internal departments and outside sales to ensure orders, pricing, inventory, and customer needs are handled accurately and efficiently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Food Sales Manager perform a wide range of functions, including but not limited to the following:

• Customer responsibility & support (internal and external customers)
• Customer prospecting
• Contract administration support
• USDA bids - bid, manage, bill
• Review order pricing
• Monthly sales reports
• School bid pricing & entering
• Bid administration for specific customers
• Packaging inventory, review & approval
• Packaging design review
• Minimal Travel
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree in Sales/Marketing preferred
• 5+ years of food service sales experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel occasionally.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Compensation:

• Based on experience

Work Schedule:

• 8:00am - 5:00pm / Monday - Friday.
• Schedule may vary slightly depending on department needs.
