Our practice is built on more than 30 years of real?world experience across metals, energy, defense, manufacturing, and construction-experience earned inside the very industries we serve. Unlike generalist brokers or purely financial intermediaries, we combine investment?banking discipline with firsthand industrial operating knowledge, enabling us to evaluate businesses not just by their financials, but by the equipment, processes, customers, and competitive dynamics that drive long?term value. We serve business owners seeking strategic exits, generational transitions, or targeted acquisitions. Our work spans metal stampers, roll formers, processors, fabricators, service centers, rugged HMI manufacturers, defense contractors, energy?sector equipment suppliers, and other industrial businesses where technical nuance matters. Because we understand how these companies actually make money-how they manage capacity, process materials, maintain quality, and serve demanding OEM and Tier?1 customers-we deliver valuations, buyer identification, and negotiations grounded in operational reality. Our firm operates with strict confidentiality, high ethical standards, and a commitment to protecting the legacy of every business we represent. We maintain a curated network of strategic buyers, private investors, family offices, and industrial acquirers across the Midwest, Southeast, and national markets. Our advisory model is intentionally lean, senior?led, and focused on quality over volume. Every engagement receives hands?on leadership, rigorous analysis, and a disciplined process designed to maximize value while minimizing disruption to the owner's business. KJ McCarthy Certified Business Brokers, Inc. is different because we are not simply transaction facilitators-we are industrial specialists who bring decades of operational insight to every deal. Partners operate as business development specialists and sector intelligence contributors, helping us source high?quality sell?side engagements and acquisition opportunities. You will leverage your existing contacts-owners, executives, engineers, plant managers, procurement leaders, OEM/Tier?1 buyers, or industry influencers-to identify businesses that may benefit from confidential M&A guidance. Partners do not need prior brokerage experience; however, familiarity with industrial operations, capital equipment, supply chains, or technical products is highly valuable. You will collaborate directly with senior leadership, receive structured onboarding, and gain access to our proprietary processes, valuation frameworks, and deal?screening tools.
