In this vital role, you'll act as the essential link between the kitchen and front-of-house service, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly and accurately. Duties Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating and garnishing to support kitchen staff when needed Clear tables by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards Support the cleaning and sanitizing of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment in compliance with food safety protocols Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay special requests or modifications Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or equipment using safe lifting practices Provide friendly, in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, and guest services enhances your fit for this role Ability to work quickly in a high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Join us in creating memorable dining moments!
