This role offers the opportunity to build valuable customer service, cash-handling, and store operations skills while working in a supportive environment. You'll receive training on our procedures, food safety standards, and equipment, so you can feel confident in your responsibilities. Employees generally work independently during their shifts, with the support and guidance needed to succeed. Job Responsibilities Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and provide helpful, courteous service. Operate the cash register and accurately process cash and credit card transactions. Stock shelves, coolers, displays, and food items so customers can easily find what they need. Keep counters, food preparation areas, equipment, and customer areas clean and inviting. Clean and sanitize the ice cream machine and other food service equipment as required, especially during closing shifts, following training and store procedures. Monitor inventory and replenish merchandise as needed. Sweep, mop, remove trash, and complete general cleaning tasks. Follow food safety, sanitation, and store operating procedures. Complete opening and closing duties as assigned. Help with other routine tasks that keep the store organized, stocked, and running smoothly. Qualifications Dependable, honest, and comfortable working independently. Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers. Able to handle money accurately and responsibly. Willing to clean, stock merchandise, and pitch in wherever help is needed. Previous cashier or convenience store experience is helpful but not required.
