Global Partners LP seeks a Market Associate/Cashier for our energy retail location. You'll operate the POS system, accurately handle cash and credit transactions, and provide quick, friendly service to fuel and convenience-store customers. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, rotating inventory, preparing grab-and-go items, maintaining a clean, safe forecourt and store, and following strict safety and regulatory guidelines. You'll support daily tasks such as opening/closing, basic reporting, and responding to customer issues in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with opportunities to grow across our retail and logistics network. Responsibilities Operate POS system and process cash, credit, and loyalty transactions accurately Provide fast, courteous service to fuel and in-store customers Monitor forecourt and store for safety, spills, and compliance with regulations Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate inventory for freshness Prepare and maintain grab-and-go food and beverage items following food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and backroom areas Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash counts and basic reports Support loss prevention by following cash-handling and security procedures Respond to customer questions, concerns, and basic complaints professionally Collaborate with team members to meet store performance and merchandising goals Required Skills Point-of-sale (POS) operation Cash handling and reconciliation Basic math skills Inventory stocking and rotation Fuel pump and forecourt monitoring Loss prevention awareness Food safety and sanitation Merchandising and signage setup Customer service and conflict de-escalation Cleaning and facilities upkeep
