Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately processing sales transactions and handling a variety of payments. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting our community customers to have a good experience Maintain a clean and organized store, ensuring all merchandising displays are tidy and stocked appropriately. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and supporting merchandising efforts to enhance store presentation. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems confidently to scan items, apply discounts, and manage sales data. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and ensuring accurate cash drawer handling at the end of shifts. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and provide coverage during busy periods or breaks. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base. Strong communication skills are essential for providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with team members. Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in advancing into leadership roles within retail operations.
